Inside: Belgium

Belgium, the country best known for her delicious beers, chocolates and fries. This is also the country that has three official languages. Two major cities from Belgium will be represented in the first season of City League Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. The Outpost Esports Bar located in Antwerp will host the Antwerp Giantkillers. The Outpost Gaming Bar located in Ghent will host the Ghent Giants. These two cities are the highest populated cities in Belgium and both are in the Flemish (close to the Dutch language) region.

Esports in Belgium

Esports in Belgium is huge and has brought forth big names in Counter-Strike like Adil ‘ScreaM‘ Benrlitom and Kévin ‘Ex6TenZ‘ Droolans both playing high tier competitive Counter-Strike in 2018. In 2017 ScreaM and his team G2 Esports won their first major together at ECS Season 1 in London. He was just released from Team EnVyUs, currently, he plays for Team LeftOut. Ex6TenZ joined Team in 2016 and is currently playing for G2 esports. His team won the ESWC 2017 at the Paris Game Week. Both of them joined the Belgium national CS:GO team for the WESG 2018 but couldn’t deliver and ended 9-12th place.
